Blogger Meet Up & Call Me Maybe #MusicMonday

This is what I wore on Thursday evening when I went out for dinner and drinks with Annie of The Other Side of Gray (go check her blog!) at Foundry in Davis Square.

Planning the logistics of meeting for the first time, having met via blogging, felt very "You've Got Mail", like we were going on a blind date, but we already knew so much about each other. I laughed when in an email she jokingly  told me that she would be the one at the bar with a red rose, so I responded that I would literally be the girl in the poodle shoes. Now, I am a gal of my word so there you have it; my poodle shoes have made their debut on the blog.

Back to the date: I am so happy we got to meet up, Annie's blog is such an inspiration to me, she is consistently posting outfits that are styled to a T with lust-worthy items in new and fun ways. I seriously want everything in her closet. Aside from reconfirming my wardrobe envy, our date proved to be nothing short of a blast! Annie is as funny and sweet, if not more, as she comes across in her blogging. Over the course of dinner, and subsequently three glasses of wine, I think we talked about everything from why we each started a blog, to our worst hangovers ever (naturally)…and just about everything in-between. I hope to meet up again in the not-too-distant future so we can pick up right where we left off! Glass number four was it?? Just kidding, sort-of….


Lastly, in light of #MusicMonday, I bring you "Call Me Maybe" by Carly Rae Jepsen …it's been stuck in my head all weekend.
