I would have told you I could not / would not wear neon pants if you paid me to circa... a year ago. But alas, here I am... wearing neon pink skinnies like it ain't no thang… ain't no thang… 

I actually wore this outfit out to catch up over casual drinks with a girlfriend of mine this weekend. And as I was leaving the house, I heard my mother turn to my dad and say "I hope Jen (the friend I was meeting) wore her sunglasses tonight", which she did not think I could hear… but I did and all I could think of in response was "Neon is in, Mom"! …and then I double-checked my backpack to make sure I had remembered to pack my scientific calculator for my pre-calc exam that afternoon and made a mental note to myself to be better at thinking of witty comebacks. 

Have any of you tried to incorporate neon into your wardrobe? Do you want to? Am I just cray?

Sometimes I just have one of those days when I just don't know what to wear... those are the days that I think to myself: "when in doubt, go leopard". Coincidentally, these are usually the days that I need a little pick-me-up, a.k.a. something sweet such as swedish fish. Do you have any fool-proof rules for those days when you just do not know what you're gonna wear?

I wear this shirt so often that I actually went back to Lands' End and bought it again so I now have 2 of the one pictured above, although I bought one a size larger and wear it like I would a sweater, and one in navy with white stripes. I just love the fabric, I think it wears and washes (so important) really well.  Do you ever love something so much that you do that too?

Liar, Liar, Pants on Fire...

Lately I have been sporting my red bottoms, perhaps a little too frequently... nah, not possible. I love them too much.

Yes, I'm still rocking loving my Steve Madden leopard print loafers, I love them. I'm also loving navy and red together, even during this transition time I feel nautical wearing them together and I start to get the urge to rig a sail and pray for wind... Let's not talk about how poorly my last sailing adventure went.

Le petite school boy

Couldn't help but to feel like a little school boy in this prepster outfit. I wore this on yet another apartment looking endeavor (nothing perfect yet). I love that it's warm enough out that I can wear this navy blazer in place of a winter coat!!

It's been far too long since my last update, sorry! I just worked 3 consecutive 8 days in a row weeks (does that make sense?) and have been running around like a chicken with its head cut off (sorry for the morbid imagery) for the past 26 days.

Anyways... Now I'm off to Florida for a much anticipated vacation with one of my bestest friends from college. I promise pics (Harry. Potter. World.).
