It's been awhile…: I know, it's a busy time of the year for just about everyone, and I have not been present on my blog since Christmas! I will do better. To catch you up, I've made a list of what I've been up for the past couple of months:
- In November I was all a flurry searching for jobs.
- In December I was all a flurry interviewing for jobs.
- I received a few job offers.
- Merry Christmas!
- I accepted one!
- I gave my notice (end of an era for me).
- Happy New Year!
- Started my new job.
- Been working Saturdays at old job to help out.
- Been training for the half marathon (up to 8 miles now).
- Joined a Trivia team.
- Joined a cornhole team.
- Got my hair ombre'd (very subtle, post to come…)
- Renewed my style setter term (stay tuned…)
On getting minty: The dress code for my new job is "step above business casual", which I have been having a blast with (more to come on the Mall blog). On "casual Friday" when "absolutely no jeans" are allowed, I take the liberty of wearing my outfits that are a little more "out there" such as the mint and metallic deco print pants above, and my "tin man" shoes from J Crew.
I think we'll be seeing a lot of pastel trending in Spring 2013, including the return of mint green, and head-to-toe coordinating outfit pieces such as mine above….
